The inn between by marina cohen5/16/2023 Just in case you want to know for some reason, here’s the plot twist. This book is almost horror, but in a way that a ten year old could still read it. I do recommend you go into this book without spoiling it for yourself because otherwise the book won’t be nearly as interesting as it was.įor some of you, this story may be exactly what you were expecting, but the plot twist at the end completely blew me away. The story was not what I was expecting, but it was an intriguing read all the same. Thoughts: I picked The Inn Between up at my local library because I thought the summary sounded interesting. Will the girls be able to solve the mystery of what happened to Kara's family before it's too late? When Kara's parents and then brother disappear without a trace, the girls are stranded in a hotel full of strange guests, hallways that twist back in on themselves, and a particularly nasty surprise lurking beneath the floorboards. They stop over at the first hotel they see, a Victorian inn that instantly gives Quinn the creeps, and she begins to notice strange things happening around them. When Quinn's best friend Kara has to move away, she goes on one last trip with Kara and her family. She was caught cheating in school, and then one day, her little sister Emma disappeared while walking home from school. Spoiler-free Summary: Eleven-year-old Quinn has had some bad experiences lately.
